Explore the Leonardo exhibition at the Museum of Science and Technology and visit the “Last Supper”
The tour starts with a visit to the Leonardo Galleries, a permanent exhibition at the Museum of Science and Technology. It will deal with the history of da Vinci in chronological order, from his beginnings at the workshop of Andrea del Verrocchio until the last years lived at the court of the King of France, the multifaceted interest of a man fully immersed in the time of the Renaissance.
We will visit the nearby Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie afterwards, to conclude with the mural painting of the Last Supper preserved in its dining hall since 1498 when it was completed and masterfully restored by Pinin Brambilla Barcilon between 1982 and 1999.
A faithful, small-scale reproduction of Leonardo’s work is also available in the dining hall for the visually impaired.
