Explore Portofino, the pearl of the Tigullio Gulf
The promontory of Portofino, divides the Gulf of Genoa from the Gulf of Tigullio (also called the Guglielmo Marconi Gulf in honour of the first radio experiments carried out here by the Bolognese inventor), on the shores of which there are world-famous tourist centres and seaside resorts.
Stunning views are offered by the imposing cliffs overhanging the sea that lead to Punta della Chiappa, over which a votive column to the Madonna stands guard. Past Punta della Chiappa, the coast enters the Cala dell’Oro, enclosed between two steep rock walls.
You will be able to admire the beauty of one of Liguria’s most beautiful spots from a reserved boat, while sailing to the enchanting village of Portofino, where we will disembark for a short walk.
At the end, we will return to Santa Margherita Ligure by boat.
